Mary Jane Buscavage

Mary Jane Buscavage, 85, of Tunkhannock passed away at the Geisinger CMC Hospital on July 6 ^th 2024.  She was born on July 13, 1938, in Kingston Pa. and she was the daughter of the late Roy Tryon Sr. and the late former Marian Makinson.

Mary was married to the late Walter Buscavage, Jr. who passed away in 2006, and Bert Cross who passed away in 1971.

Mary was an organist for the St Peter’s Episcopal Church, Tunkhannock until 1991.  Mary was always involved in the community and loved helping others.  Mary was a dedicated mother and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husbands and parents she is preceded in death by her son; Brian Cross and her daughter Maryann Lee, brother Robert Tryon, and sisters Dorothy Verfaillie, and Helen Tryon.

She is survived by her children; Robert Buscavage of Tunkhannock, Peggy and Kenny Belcher of Tunkhannock, Bradley Cross, Sr. and Trina Weidner of Tunkhannock, Burton Cross and Patricia Miller Cumberland Maryland, Dolores Coar, of Dickson City, a brother Roy Tryon Jr., and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
