Mary Hayos (Kolatis)

Mary T. (Kolatis) Hayos, 89, of Factoryville, died Friday evening,
Jan. 15, 2016, at Regional Hospital of Scranton. She was born in
Dunmore on Feb. 14, 1926, the daughter of the late Jacob and
Anna Wallace Kolatis.             .
She was a Cashier at her sister’s store Brunetti’s Pizza for many
years and was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Nicholson. She was a
past member of the Factoryville women’s civic club. She enjoyed
Canning, sewing, tending to her flower bed and spoiling her
grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband John F. Hayos Sr. May 29, 1984, and
her son John F. Hayos Jr., Aug. 4, 2006;  five brothers John, Joseph,
Frank, Albert, Michael; two sisters Victoria and Irene.
Also surviving are a daughter –in-law Barbara Hayos of Factoryville;
granddaughter, Nicole L. of Wellington, Co and grandson, Kyle of
Factoryville and a brother Edward Kolatis of Throop and a sister Ann Brunetti
of Dunmore.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. from St. Patrick’s
Church, Nicholson with Father Thomas Petro officiating. Friends may
call on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Anthony P. Litwin Jr.
Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 Reynolds St., Factoryville.  Interment, St.
Patrick’s Cemetery, Nicholson.
