Mary Ayers, 98, of Glenburn passed away Wednesday at Allied Services
   
   Skilled Nursing Center, Scranton where she resided the past ten years.
   
   She was born in Jessup on Aug. 19, 1916 the daughter of the late
   
   Charles and Theresa Ereele Pasmeg. She was the widow of Phillip Johns and
   
   Roger G. Ayers.
   
   She was a lifelong resident of the Glenburn area. She was a homemaker and
   
   family was her life. She was a great cook and known for her baking
   
   especially for the best yeast cakes. Mary was a lifetime member of the
   
   Dalton Ladies Auxiliary and a member of Our lady of the Snows Church,
   
   Clarks Summit.
   
   The family would like to thank all of the staff on 2 South at Allied
   
   Services Skilled Nursing Center for the loving care and comfort they
   
   showed us and mom. A special thank you to her nieces, Marion and Teri
   
   Bede.
   
   Mary was preceded in death by three sisters Theresa Bede, Margaret
   
   Heard, Betty Phillips and a brother Paul Pasmeg.
   
   Mary is survived by a daughter; Lucille Myers and husband William of
   
   Glenburn, stepson Jeffrey K. Ayers and wife Aimee of Northampton, a
   
   granddaughter Lisa and husband Dave Rzeszewski of South Abington two
   
   great-granddaughters Jessica and Lauren and several nieces and
   
   nephews.
  
   Blessing service will be Tuesday at 6pm at the Anthony P. Litwin Jr.
   
   Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 Reynolds St., Factoryville with Deacon Leo Lynn of
   
   Our Lady of Snows. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from
   
   4 to 6pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to
   
   the Dalton Fire Company 109 S. Turnpike Rd. Dalton PA 18414. Our Lady
   
   of the Snows Church 301 S State St, Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
