Michael J. Dobrinski Jr. 84, of Tunkhannock passed away peacefully with his wife at his side on Tuesday Dec. 14, 2021, at Abington Manor, Clarks Summit. His wife is the former Beverly Harding, they just celebrated 60 years of happiness in September.
Born in Avoca on Feb. 8, 1937; he was the son of the late Michael J. and Agnes Woziak.
Mike was a member of Nativity B.V.M Church. He was humble and hardworking man starting his own excavator business and later joined up with his brother George in the timber business. He was an avid NASCAR fan especially of the late great Dale Earnhardt. He loved to go to work and working on his cars.
The family would like to express special thanks to the nurses, aids and all the staff at Abington Manor and Traditional Hospice for all the care they gave Michael.
Dobie is survived by his son Michael III (Betty) of Tunkhannock and daughter Ann Marie Garcia of Meshoppen. Two brothers George (Leona) of Lake Winola and David (Diana) of Tunkhannock. Two sisters Elizabeth Drost of Tunkhannock and Marie Ernst (Russell) of Las Vegas, NV. Four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial mass will be Monday Dec. 20, 2021, at 10am at Nativity B.V.M Church Tunkhannock with the Rev. Patrick L. Albert officiating. Interment at Pieta Cemetery. Friends are asked to go directly to church by 10am. Arrangements by Harding-Litwin Funeral Home. 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock.
