Norma A. Sabol (Sillick)

Norma A. Sabol, 94, of West Abington Township died Nov. 14, 2018 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart inpatient unit, Dunmore.  Born in Scranton on Dec. 15, 1923; the daughter of the late Roy and Hannah Wharton Sillick.

She was active with the Dalton United Methodist Church, the Dalton Fire Co. Ladies Auxillary, the Federation Auxillary, High Rollers bowling team at Idle Hours Lanes and eating carrot soup at the Gourment on Thursdays.

Norma was predeceased by two husbands Elwyn Meinzer and John Sabol, her son Harold” Butch” Meinzer, a brother, Harold and sister, Emma.

Surviving are two cousins Nancy Rodgers and Betty Roberts both of Clarks Summit, nieces, nephew, caregivers Kim and David of Dalton and a special nurse Angela Yachna of Hospice of the Sacred Heart.

Funeral Service will be Monday Nov. 19, 2018 at 12 noon from Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 Reynolds St. Factoryville with Pastor T.J. McCabe officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10am-noon on the day of the service.  Interment will take place at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
