Paul R. Corby, 63, of Factoryville, passed peacefully at home on August 3, 2026, surrounded by his children, family, and loved ones.

Born in Scranton on February 23, 1963, he was the beloved son of Calvin K. and Janet M. (Cleave) Corby of Factoryville.

Paul was a graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School. For more than 30 years, he dedicated himself to his work at Clark's Garage, where he was respected, admired, and known by coworkers and customers alike as the person everyone could count on. No matter the problem, Paul was always the "go-to" person, and he was happiest when lending a helping hand. His willingness to help others, whether family, friends, neighbors, or strangers, was one of the qualities that defined his life.

Paul proudly served for many years as a Clinton Township Supervisor. He was also an extremely proud member of the Factoryville Masonic Lodge No. 341 F&AM, where he served as Worshipful Master for four years. His Masonic brothers and the values of the fraternity held a special place in his heart.

A gifted craftsman, Paul had an extraordinary talent for refinishing and painting antique automobiles, bringing new life to treasured classics. He also loved antiques and enjoyed collecting many unique pieces throughout his life. He was an avid student of history, especially the rich history of his family's farm and the generations who came before him. Whether he was restoring a car, searching for antiques, fishing, or learning something new about local history, Paul found joy in preserving the past.

Christmas was Paul's favorite time of year. More than the decorations or traditions, he treasured having his entire family together. His greatest pride and joy were his children and grandchildren. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and until the very end, he did everything he could to care for and support them.

Paul was preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Caleb, who passed away in 2017.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his daughters, Becky Miller (Mason) and Emma Corby and fiancé Carter Lewis; his son, Owen Corby, all of Factoryville; his cherished grandchildren, Isaiah, Masey, Cooper, and Greyson; his sister, Dawn Frisco (Bob), of Falls; his nephew, Bobby; and many extended family members, dear friends, and loved ones who will miss him deeply.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate doctors, nurses, and staff at Geisinger Cancer Center in Dickson City and to Allied Hospice for the exceptional care, kindness, and support they provided to Paul and his family.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 9, at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor James Rugg officiating at Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 Reynolds Street, Factoryville. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.
