Paul S. Palaskas

Paul S. Palaskas, 72, of Nicholson dies Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018

at Abington Manor, Clarks Summit. He was born in Scranton on

Dec. 23, 1945, the son of the late Sylvester and Margaret Publik

Palaskas.

He was preceded in death by his wife Loretta Dean who

died Aug. 13, 2013 and a son Brian Palaskas who died July 8,

1986.

He owned and operated the Hotel Niver in Nicholson he enjoyed

pool, Sci-Fi, sports, played and sponsored softball teams, he was a

drummer, had a passion for music, served in the United States

Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.

Paul is survived by his beloved sons: Gregory and wife Kerry of

Dalton, and Aaron and wife Meagan of Scranton; Dawny, his niece

and her Fiancé, Vinnie of Factoryville; a sister, Missy, of

Factoryville; four grandchildren, who he loved dearly: Brian,

Hannah, Benjamin, and Ethan; and many fur grand babies.

Graveside services will be held at the Nicholson Cemetery at a

later date in the spring followed by a Celebration of Life.
