Phyllis A. Weisenfluh, 84, formerly of Dalton, died Tuesday morning
   
   (12/8/2015) at Abington Manor, Clarks Summit. Born in Wilkes-Barre on
   
   April 28, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Florence Rowe
   
   Burkhardt. Her husband, the late Robert Owen Weisenfluh, died Oct. 4,
   
   1987.
   
   Phyllis graduated from St. Mary’s high school in Wilkes-Barre. She was
   
   a member of Our Lady of the Abingtons Church, Dalton. She enjoyed
   
   sewing either on her personal time at home or when she was working at
   
   numerous local dress factories. Phyllis was also known as the “Pie
   
   Lady” baking pies at home, Brick’s Market and at Gin’s Tavern. The
   
   family would like to thank the staff at Compassionate Care Hospice and Abington Manor
   
   for the care that was given to Phyllis.
   
   Phyllis was preceded in death by her sister Joan Burkhardt and brother
   
   Carl Burkhardt Jr.
   
   Surviving are two sons Kevin and his wife Carol; Bruce and his wife
   
   Nikki; a daughter Joan Rogers and her husband John all of
   
   Factoryville. Six grandchildren Haley, Owen Robert, Mikaela and Sarah
   
   Weisenfluh, Cory and Camryn Rogers. Several nieces and nephews.
   
   Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 10 a.m. at Our lady of the
   
   Abingtons Church 700 W. Main St. Dalton PA 18414 with Father Thomas
   
   Petro officiating. Friends are asked to go directly to church.
   
   Friends may call at Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc. 33
   
   Reynolds St. Factoryville on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm. Interment at
   
   Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
   
   Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Abingtons Church
