Raymond M. Franko

Raymond Franko went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 7th, 2025. He was a loving and devoted servant of our Lord, Jesus Christ and our most Blessed Mother.

He was born in Scranton. Ray was dedicated to his Catholic faith. He was a loving husband to the former and late Frances Tallo for 61 years, and a very proud father of five children, Four boys- Michael (Gail), Daniel (Ann Marie) Andrew (Catherine), and Luke (Karri) Franko, and one daughter-Anna Longstreet. They were his joy. He also had ten grandchildren, whom he adored- William (Maura) Longstreet and Andrew (Stephanie) Longstreet, Theresa Longstreet Andres (Kai) Makayla, Madelyn, Alexandra, Audrey, Keegan, Veronica, and Brogan Franko. He also had four great-grandchildren- Connor, Garrett, Savannah, and Leo Longstreet.
Raymond was an active member of Corpus Christi Parish, Harding. He worked for PennDOT as a bridge foreman. He was an avid outdoorsman, raised black angus cows, enjoyed horses and  hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Verna Suprick Fanko Sr., his brother Elmer Franko Jr., and his son-in-law, William Longstreet.

His family would like to thank Hospice of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Dunmore for their constant support through this difficult time.

A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday June 13th at 10:00am from Our Lady of the Abingtons, Church 700 W. Main St. Dalton PA 18414. Interment will follow at the Hickory Grove Cemetery, Waverly. A viewing will be held on Thursday June 12 th from 4pm-7pm at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock.
