Richard Martin Eben Harvey, Sr, 77, of Tunkhannock passed away on Jan. 6, 2019 at the Gardens of Tunkhannock. Rich was born on Dec. 25, 1941 in Forkston and was the son of the late Martin and Arlita (Foote) Harvey.

Richard received his GED and went on to own his own contracting company where he specialized in heating, plumbing, and electrical. Rich enjoyed over 45 years in this business with help from his children. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his family.

In addition to his wife Sharon May (Rozelle) Harvey, he is predeceased by a daughter Denise Ann Harvey, a granddaughter Deborah Sue Harvey, and a sister Carmelita Strohl.

He is survived by his children; Richard Harvey, Jr. of Montrose, Randy Harvey of Binghamton, NY, Sharon Haines of Scranton, Danielle Schuckers, of Plymouth, and Ryan Harvey of Tunkhannock, 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, officiated by Pastor Bob Kadlecik of the Bridgewater Church in Montrose. Interment will be at the Sunnyside Cemetery.
