Robert Dewey Brown

Robert Dewey Brown was born in Meshoppen, PA on January 7, 1949. He was the son of the late Melvin Perry Brown and Betty Elizabeth Sands Brown.

Bobby was raised in Vosburg and was a graduate of the Tunkhannock Area School District Class of 1967. After graduation he joined the U.S. Navy, where he served in Providence, RI and Gulfport, MS. Upon returning to his hometown he held several jobs in the automotive (body mechanics) field. He had a passion for cars/trucks and was the proud owner of some cool hot rods in his day. He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing.

He is survived by his children, Kelly (Shannon) Kozlansky, Bobbi Jo (Nathaniel) Roote, Devin Brown and Daniel Brown, all of Tunkhannock. Five grandchildren, Cheyenne (Trey) Mathews of Spartanburg, SC, Justin (Kayla) Kozlansky, Gabrielle Roote, Julianna Roote and Brandon Kozlansky, all of Tunkhannock. One great grandson, Callum Mathews.

He is also survived by brother Perry (Ashley) Brown and great niece Skylar of Binghamton, NY; sister, Victoria Decker (Steve) of Bryam, NJ.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
