Rocky Dean Ramey

Rocky Dean Ramey, 64, of Tunkhannock passed away on Sept. 8 ^th , 2024, surrounded by his family.  Rocky was born in Bristol, Pa on Sept. 2, 1960, and he was the son of the late Fairis and Frances Gilbert Ramey.  Rocky was married to the late Anita St. Clair Ramey who passed away Jan. 12, 2022.

Rocky was a graduate of the Elk Lake High School and was enlisted in the Army National Guard for 14 years.  Rocky was a machine operator for over 30 years at Meshoppen Stone.  He enjoyed showing off his 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air at all the local car shows.  Rocky loved watching Nascar, camping with his family, football, and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife Rocky is preceded in death by a brother David Ramey and a nephew Dakota Watkins.

He is survived by his children; Ashley and husband Bill Taylor of Tunkhannock, Jessica Ramey of Factoryville, siblings; Elizabeth Ramey of Tunkhannock, Scott Ramey of Tunkhannock, Donald Ramey of Stevensville, Ronald Ramey, of Binghamton, Robert Ramey of Lenox, Pa, grandchildren; Abigail Hallock, Chase Taylor, Emma Taylor, Ethan Fassett, Brinlee Ramey, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Sept. 28 ^th at 12noon from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, Pa.  A visitation will be held from 11am until the time of the service.  For online condolences or directions visit www.aplitwinfuneralhomes.com
