Roy “Rich” Dailey, Jr.,62, of Jenningsville passed away peacefully from complication of pancreatic cancer at his home on May 27 th , 2024. He was born in Meshoppen on July 3, 1961, and he was the son of the late Roy R. Dailey, Sr., and Wilma M. Fenton Dailey. Roy was married to AnnMarie for 27 years, and he was a 1980 graduate of the Elk Lake High School. He was employed at Proctor and Gamble Mehoopany for over 30 years.
Roy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and family. Rich was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Rich enjoyed coaching and umpiring at the local little league associations.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a niece Cheryl Ann Carrier.
Rich was survived by his loving wife AnnMarie Tupper Dailey, children; Amelia Dailey of Lake Winola, Brandon Dailey and Sami Heiser, of Hunlock Creek, Sarah Dailey, of Jenningsville, grandchildren; David Tarbrake, Julia Riccardella, Ryan Riccardella, Nova Vaow, and great grandchild Aaron Tarbrake, sister Brenda Carrier of Meshoppen, brothers; Michael Dailey of Meshoppen, Matthew Dailey of Meshoppen, Timothy Dailey and wife Shelly, of Tunkhannock, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on June 1, 2024, at 2pm from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, Pa. A viewing will be held Friday May 31 st from 2pm until 5pm and on Sat. from 1pm until the time of the service.
The family would like to thank the Geisinger organization especially the Tunkhannock and Wyoming Valley facilities, and the Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
