Ruth L. Barziloski (Burnett)

Ruth L. Barziloski, 84, of Tunkhannock, died Thursday Dec. 24, 2015 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley. Born July 29, 1931 in Caseville, MI, she was a daughter of the late George and Josephine (Burnett) Gorski. She later moved to Tunkhannock and attended the Eatonville school. She was a seamstress for over 30 years belonging to the ILGWU. She was a member of Nativity BVM church, Tunkhannock. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking a trip to the Casino, picking mushrooms, working at the Eckel tomato farm as well as making wreaths at the Barziloski’s tree farm. She was preceded in death by her husband John Zenald Barziloski on Nov 28, 2001. Ruth was the last of nine siblings to pass away. Surviving are son John Barziloski and wife Debbie of Tunkhannock, daughters Cynthia Barziloski of Landrum, SC., and Denise Robinson and husband Adam of Tunkhannock. Four grandchildren and six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Blessing services will be at 12 noon on Monday from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with Father Patrick Albert of the Nativity BVM Catholic church officiating. Friends may call from 10am until service time 12 noon. Interment Pieta Cemetery, Tunkhannock
