2:00 - 4:00 pm (Eastern time)
Our beautiful daughter Sara Reynolds, 26, of Nicholson, PA, passed away on July 2, 2026 in New Milford Pa.
Sara was an amazing soul whose life, though far too short, left an unforgettable mark on everyone blessed enough to know her.
To know Sara was to know someone who cared deeply. She was the kind of person who would be there for someone else even when she was struggling with battles of her own. She had a big heart, and she gave pieces of it freely to the people she loved. She was an amazing daughter, sister, mother, niece, cousin, grandchild and friend.
Above all else, Sara was a loving mother to her son, Morgan Marcy. Being Morgan's mother was one of the most important parts of Sara's life. Her love for him was deep, fierce, and unconditional. She wanted the best for him and carried the love she had for her son with her through every moment of her life
Sara was the beloved daughter of Naomi and Steve Reynolds and sister of Seth Reynolds. She also leaves behind her cousins Emma and Eva Whitesell, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who loved her dearly and Klay Marcy who she truly loved.
Sara had a creative spirit that made her shine. She was an incredibly talented artist and had a special gift for making beautiful things. Her talent was especially evident during her time at the Susquehanna County Career and Technology Center, where she studied cosmetology and made history by becoming the only sophomore ever selected since the inception of the cosmetology program at SCCTC. Sara went on to take the gold for her incredible makeup skills, showcasing the talent and creativity that came so naturally to her.
Sara was also nominated twice for the Good Guys Breakfast at Lackawanna Trail High School where she was a cheerleader, played soccer, wrestled and played football
Sara's journey was not always easy, but she was determined. During her senior year, she made the decision to leave school and later pursue her GED. She completed it so quickly and successfully that she was awarded a scholarship. Sara had a way of proving that when she put her mind to something, she could accomplish it.
Throughout her working life, Sara held jobs at Sheetz, Crystal Glass, QPI and most recently the United States Postal Service where she touched the lives of coworkers and friends.
Sara was preceded in death by her grandparents, Etta Mae and Charles Reynolds and Wendy and Fred Whitesell; her uncle, Heath Rusinko; and her aunt, Jessica Whitesell.
Sara's absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled. There will be birthdays when she is missed, holidays where her chair is empty, things that bring back memories, and countless little moments when those who loved her will wish they could call her one more time.
But Sara's story is not only one of loss. It is also a story of love, talent, determination, friendship, motherhood, and a young woman who tried to be there for others even when life was difficult for her.
Her memory will live on through her son Morgan, her mother and father Steven And Naomi Reynolds, her brother Seth Reynolds, Aunts Dotty Sobieski, Deborah Reynolds, Micky Stewart, and Amy Sobieski, Uncles Chuck Reynolds, Bernie and Matt Sobieski. Her second Mom Faith Newman. Cousins Emma and Eva Whitesell and Hunter Reynolds. Klay Marcy, Kyla Marcy, and many other friends. The art she created, the people she helped, and every single person who carries a piece of Sara in their heart.
Friends and family of Sara are welcomed to Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 Reynolds St. Factoryville, PA, on October 24th, 2026 from 2-4.
Sara, you were loved, missed, and will never be forgotten. Forever 26, forever Morgan's Mom, forever our Sara.
We will love you for all of our tomorrows.
