Stella R, Martin

Stella R. Martin, 85, of Mountainside, NJ passed away at the CareOne Nursing home on Friday May 27 ^th .   She was born in Tunkhannock, PA on May 8, 1931 and she was the daughter of the late Anna Pascoe. She was married to Joseph Martin for 20 years.  Stella was a Tunkhannock High School graduate and she enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, hunting, and skiing.  She loved to cook and serve meals for large family gatherings.

In addition to her parents Stella is preceded in death by her daughter Marianne Martin who died at age 5.

She is survived by two brothers Henry and wife Donna Pascoe of Mehoopany, and John and wife Robin Pascoe of Tunkhannock, three daughters Diane and husband James Greeley of Freehold, NJ, Roxanne Martin of Cambridge, VT, and Jo-Ann Martin and husband Scott Buckholz of Cold Spring, NY, two granddaughters Sara and husband William Hill of Freehold, NJ, and Katherine and husband Daniel Gregory of Howell, NJ, 4 great grandchildren Jaxson and Addilyn Hill, and Kayla and Mackenzie Gregory.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10am from the Church of the Holy Redeemer 2435 State Rt. 92 Falls, PA 18615 with Rev Msgr. John Sempa officiating. Friends may call at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA Friday from 4-7pm. Friends are asked to go directly to church on Saturday. Interment will be held at the Mt.
