Terrie L. Kelson, 59, of Tunkhannock passed away while surrounded by her family Jan. 28. Terrie was born in Somerville, NJ., on May 7, 1956 and she is the daughter of William T. and Leah Hackling Clements. She was a graduate of the Dover High School and she was married to the late Bucky Kelson whom passed in 2009.
Terrie was a computer technician for Crum & Foster and she was a Civil War enthusiast and loved Gettysburg history. Terrie enjoyed reading Stephen King, traveling with her sister and “girls weekends”.
In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her father William.
In addition to her mother Terrie is survived by her stepsons Doug, Stephen, and Michael Kelson, and by her sister Vickie Ide and husband Glenn of Tunkhannock, brothers Stephen Clements of Virginia Beach, and Timothy and wife Cheryl Clements of Madison, NJ., 9 Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Sat. Feb. 6, at 4pm from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock. Friends may call from 2pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Drive, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 or any breast cancer foundation.
