Theodosia J. Frear

Theodosia J. Frear, 87, of Factoryville passed away at the Allied Skilled Nursing Home on July 28, 2022.  She was born in Scranton on Nov. 23, 1934, and she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Joan Krzywicki Hoeffner.  Theodosia was married to the late Carl D. Frear on June 27, 1959.

Theodosia was a 1952 graduate of the Falls/Overfield School, and a graduate of the Lackawanna College.  She worked at MetLife and California Baptist Bible College as a secretary.  She enjoyed making pine cone wreaths baskets, and floral arrangements.  She also enjoyed taking pictures and making photo albums, sunbathing at the lake or poolside, and spending time with family.

She was known as Sunshine Grandma and Grandma Theo.

She is survived by her sister: Geraldine Danks, sons: Theodore Frear and wife Nancy, Albert Frear and wife Pam, grandsons: Teddy Frear, Evan Frear, Darek Frear, Ed Volek, granddaughter: Samantha Frear, great- granddaughters Chalcedony and Zaeda, many nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11am Sat Aug. 6 ^th from the St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic church 1872 Dalton Rd, Lake Winola, PA 18625.  A viewing will be held at the church from 10-11am.  Interment will follow at the Lake Winola Cemetery.  For online condolences visit www.aplitwinfuneralhomes.com.
