Thomas Lewis Hill Sr., 90, died Saturday at Geisinger Mt. View Care
   
   Center, Scranton. Born in Scranton on October 5, 1925; the son of the
   
   late Chester and Ann Lewis Hill. His wife of 46 years the late Barbara
   
   Ann Hill died September 4, 1994.
   
   Tom graduated from Waverly High School and attended Keystone Jr. College and
   
   Lafayette College, served his Country twice, once with the Army during
   
   WWII and with the Airforce during the Korean Conflict. He was a past
   
   Commodore at the Scranton Canoe Club where he was instrumental in the
   
   creation of the Poop Deck.
   
   Preceded in death by a daughter Susan H. Parker.
   
   Surviving are eight children Thomas L. Hill Jr. of Clarks Summit; John
   
   C. Hill and wife Phyllis of Factoryville; Carol A. Beezup and husband
   
   Joseph of Newton Twp.; Barbara W. Kelley and husband Douglas of
   
   Factoryville; Robert W. Hill and wife Debora M. of Factoryville;
   
   Stephen R. Hill of Clarks Summit; Debra L. Aten and husband Jeff of
   
   Nicholson; Robin B. Gorman and husband Mark of Scott Twp.; and a
   
   son-in-law Peter Parker of Windham, Maine. 16 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
   
   The family would like to send a special thank you to Ann, Carol, Karen
   
   and Deb at Traditional Hospice and to the entire nurses and staff at Belle Bay
   
   Nursing Station at Geisinger Mt. View Care Center.
