Walter Adams, 88, of Tunkhannock died Tuesday evening at V.N.A Hospice at Geisinger C.M.C, Scranton. Born in Wilkes-Barre on Christmas Day 1925, the son of the late William and Emma Wallace Adams.  His wife the late Verna Anderson Adams died in 1992.
Walter was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during W.W.II  he was employed with Commonwealth Telephone until his retirement . A member of the Nicholson Masonic Lodge post # 438.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing
Preceded in death besides his wife Verna, a son John, a grandson John, brother LeRoy Adams, and a sister Edith Bennett.
Surviving is a daughter Donna Rozanski   and two sons Gary and Randy all of Tunkhannock. Several grand and great grandchildren and his cat Skippy.
As for Walters request there will be a private Masonic and Military Service at the convenience of the family. Interment Sunnyside Cemetery.  Arrangements byHarding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock.
