William R. Compton, Jr, 59, of Tunkhannock passed away at the Geisinger CMC Hospital on June 15 th . He was born in Scranton on May 18, 1964, and he is the son of William Compton, Sr. and Lavera Cashmark. William was married to the former Debbie Clark on Sept. 27, 1996.
William was a truck driver his whole life and he enjoyed wrestling, fishing, hunting, and he loved the outdoors. He loved football but not the Eagles, he loved driving trucks with his Mijo, picking on his nieces and nephews and listening to music, especially AC/DC. He loved his children and was very proud of them. He liked to watch Stranger Things, Gold Rush, Law and Order, Charmed, Supernatural, Swamp People, Jurassic Park, and he had a wonderful sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his father William R. Compton Sr.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Melissa Bonilla-Mendoza and her husband Misael, Sophia Compton, son William Compton III, mother Lavera Cashmark, sisters Laura Wickizer, Hope Pugh, sister-in-law Judy Clark, and one niece and nephew, 3 grandchildren.
