William Munn Fuhrey

William Munn Fuhrey, 84, of Springville died Sept. 5, 2022, at Allied Hospice Scranton.  He was born in Coudersport on July 4, 1938; and he was the son of the late Harry and Theresa Munn Fuhrey. His wife of 51 years was the former Barbara Teel.

He was a member of the Teamsters union and drove truck for himself or many different local companies. He was a member of the Springville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fixing small engines and loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching their games.

In addition to his parents Bill is preceded in death by  his son, Richard Fuhrey; three brothers, Robert, Rodney, and Harry Fuhrey Jr.; two sisters Joan Swisher, Emma Mae Gaylord.

In addition to his wife Barb he is survived by; daughter Lori Evans and husband David of Factoryville; two sons William, Jr. and his wife Samantha of Oxford, GA; Scott and his wife Sandra of Laceyville;; six grandchildren Shane, Brody, Katherine “Nikki”, Brooke, Alexis and Eva Fuhrey.

Funeral service will be Saturday Sept. 10, 2022, at 11am from Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Pastor John Shaffer officiating.
