Yolande O'Leary

Yolande T. O’Leary, 61, of Kingston passed away on Tuesday June 5, 2018 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. She was born on June 17 th , 1956 and was the daughter of the late Adel Fattal and Henriette Kerbaje. Yolande was married to her husband and best friend, John Scott O’Leary who preceded her in death in 2017. Yolande graduated from William Paterson College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in psychology and graduated from Passaic County Community College with an Associate’s Degree of Liberal Arts.

Yolande loved to knit, paint and help others. She followed her dream in her career and to model and act. She was a member of the Screen Acting Guild and was an actress in several television shows, such as “Law and Order SUV,” “Mercy,” “Kings,” “Conviction,” and “Traveler,” She was featured in movie roles, such as “Going the Distance,” “SALT,” “Duplicity,” “We own the Night,” and “Turk 182”. She was in the Commercials such as Regus Office Services as an office assistant and also did various hand and face modeling in New York City. Most of all, Yolande was so very loved by her family.

Yolande is survived by her siblings: Emelda Noury and her husband, Constantine, from Oakland, New Jersey, Rev. Georges Fattal of Salesians of Don Bosco from Syria, Joseph Fattal and his wife Gemma, from Saddle Brook NJ., Bernadette Fattal from Paterson NJ, Amira Presto and her husband Alan, of Pine brook, NJ., Valentine Schwartz and her husband Barry, of Chester Springs, PA, her mother in law, Joan O’Leary, of Tunkhannock, PA and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved so dearly.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at Monday June 11 ^th at 11am from the Nativity BVM Catholic Church 99 E Tioga St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657 . A viewing will be held from 10am until the time of the service.   Interment will take place at the Orcutt’s Grove Cemetery, Noxen.
